The W.F Smith Company is a full-service Real Estate Appraisal and Consulting firm. Organized in 1984 to serve the Austin Metropolitan Area and surrounding Central Texas communities. The president and founder of the corporation is W.F. (Dubb) Smith III, MAI, SRA, SRPA. The firm is located in Dripping Springs Texas a suburb of Austin in Northern Hays county.
We serve both the commercial and residential markets in the Austin, San Antonio, and Waco SMSA's, and provide commercial and ranch appraisals in the outlying areas in a radius extending from Waco to Brownsville to Midland to Brenham.
The major assignment load over the past three years has been comprised of commercial, subdivision, multifamily projects and a variety of residential properties. We have appraised many of the Austin area apartment projects developed by JPI, Ewing, Embry, and Larry Peel. These projects include Jefferson at Treetops on Loop 360, Mesa Verde, Jefferson Commons on the Green, Jefferson at Brodie, Park Mesa, and many others. We have also appraised several office/warehouse projects along with two proposed office buildings in excess of 100,000 square feet each in the recent past. W.F. (Dubb) Smith is the commercial appraisal consultant for the Hays County Appraisal District.
